How to Change the Alert Popup Style in the PC App

Updated over a month ago

To enhance the user experience and ensure immediate attention when end-users receive CrisisGo alerts, we have introduced a modern, fullscreen alert popup in CrisisGo PC app v6.28.0.

However, some customers may still prefer to use the classic small alert popup in certain scenarios. To accommodate this, we've added an option that allows users to choose between the fullscreen popup and the classic one based on their own needs.

Starting with CrisisGo PC v6.29.2, end-users can go to CrisisGo PC App > Settings > Popup to access this option:

Modern Fullscreen Alert Popup

  • On (default): When receiving CrisisGo alerts, a modern fullscreen alert popup will appear to immediately grab your attention. See screenshot shown above.

  • Off: Falls back to the classic-style alert popup, which is smaller and displayed in the center of the screen.

NOTE:

  • This option is available starting from CrisisGo PC App v6.29.2. If you do not see the setting, please check your app version and ensure it is v6.29.2 or higher. You can download the latest CrisisGo PC app here.

  • The setting takes effect immediately—you do not need to restart the PC app after turning the option on or off.

  • The macOS app doesn't support this setting at this time.
